toile de jouy



wallpaper design, inspired by the old 'toile de jouy' wallpapers. (but i replaced the typical romantic scenes with drawings inspired by photos of jews who were in the concentration camps.
i made it for the silkscreen exhibition in our school at the end of the year.

    hey, dit is fantastisch, het is dan wel weer luguber alom, maar goed vooral heel mooi, en hoezo zeefdruk tentoonstelling op school?

    berliac: it's not so difficult to put those pencil drawings on screen for printing. (i only made a few test screens with different timing for each screen).

    merci stan! het komt op de tentoonstelling van het zeefdrukatelier van de academie van eeklo (avondonderwijs).
